Mr. Gilmer joined Kupelian Ormond & Magy, P.C. in June, 2002. Prior to joining Kupelian Ormond & Magy, Mr. Gilmer served as law clerk to the Honorable Kurtis T. Wilder of the Michigan Court of Appeals. While in law school, Mr. Gilmer worked as a law clerk in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Johnson, Rogers, & Clifton, LLP, where he assisted with traditional legal matters ranging from international business transactions to immigration concerns, as well as lobbying federal officeholders and federal agencies on behalf of clients.

Mr. Gilmer received his J.D., graduating cum laude, and a certificate in Comparative and International Law, from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in May, 2000. While at Catholic, Mr. Gilmer was active in numerous organizations, including, The Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy, Moot Court (winning best overall in the intra-school Jessup Cup competition), Republican Law Students Association, Christian Legal Society, and the Federalist Society. Mr. Gilmer completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, where he graduated, with distinction in April, 1996, receiving a B.A. in political science.

Mr. Gilmer practices in Kupelian Ormond & Magy's municipal law, litigation and business practice groups.
