Mr. Chapman is a litigator specializing in insurance coverage.  In his insurance coverage practice, Mr. Chapman represents the firm's insurance carrier clients in disputes against policyholders regarding the scope of insurance policy coverage.  Mr. Chapman also represents the firm's insurance carrier clients against other insurance carriers pertaining to priority of coverage, contribution, indemnification, and reimbursement.  Mr. Chapman also represents the firm's insurance carrier clients in no-fault automobile insurance coverage and litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chapman practiced insurance coverage and insurance coverage litigation in California, with particular emphasis on coverage issues arising out of construction defect, environmental contamination, automotive negligence, and trucker's negligence.  Mr. Chapman is admitted to practice in both Michigan and California.
