Alternative Dispute Resolution

While KOM stands ready to aggressively litigate claims in the courtroom, if necessary, we realize that many disputes are better resolved through alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) methodologies such as arbitration and mediation. ADR is often less costly and time-consuming than litigation, and it can be less divisive to ongoing relationships. Our attorneys  are trained and experienced in various forms of ADR, involving claims in diverse areas of law such as employment, commercial, environmental, securities, and personal injury disputes. We have represented parties before, and served as arbitrators or mediators for, the American Arbitration Association, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and the Circuit Courts for Oakland County and Wayne County, Michigan.
